Sending a file…

The saying a picture says a 1000 words could not be more true when it comes to printing. Allowing us to see the artwork you might already have and want quoted really speeds things up. Most applications in today’s moden era allow you to ‘save to pdf’. This is  the best place to start. If the file you are sending is intended to be used as the electronic file for printing and has issues… we will alert you and recommend what can be done to re-send the file in a better format. This has proven to be the best use of time over the years. 9 times out of 10 the pdf file you create is useable just as is.

Sidenote: A little trick, if your appication does not have a way to ‘save to pdf’, try sending it to print, but instead of just hitting ‘print’ after the print menu comes up…. look for anything in the print diologue box that says ‘pdf’. For instance in Word, you can hit ‘print’ but instead of hitting ‘print’ on the bottom right of the box, you can hit the check mark on the bottom left side of that box and drag down to ‘save as pdf’ instead of hitting print and poof... you will make a pdf instead of printing your document.
